Hello friends, I hope you are doing well. Today I want to talk about the magic of procrastination.
We have all had a day when we planned it for an important task, but randomly you have
a fascinating desire to organize your sock drawer, clean your dust from your shelter or check your social networks for the tenth time.
Unfortunately, many of us struggle with procrastination,as Mel Robbins was saying "procrastination is not a struggle, it's a habit.
I also attached a Youtube video with more information about Mel Robbins is talking about procrastination, Hope you will enjoy the video (not much than my article though).
Okay, let's start!
The first step is to take responsibility and prioritize your tasks.
Instead of letting yourself be overwhelmed by a long list of "I have to do", categorize the tasks in a way so that you can figure out
which is more important than the other. And to do this in a concrete way, we will place the tasks in 4 different quadrants.
This way you will be much more organized and you will realize that you will use your time much more efficiently that way.
During my exam period, one thing that I could not get rid of was my phone.
Every time I felt the need to answer, check a colleague, or stay on social networks. So to avoid this, establish "Phone-free zones"
during dedicated work blocks, if you think you can't do this, use applications that temporarily block
access to social networks and other temptations.
After you do one of these options, you will see that you will be more efficient.
And in order to continue to move forward in studying without procrastinating or worrying about other things we must reward ourselves. Everyone needs a reward for their effort.
Rewarding ourselves for the steps taken and for following the plan for an important task motivates us to continue.
We all are human and we all go through different battles, that's why we need to be gentle with ourselves but at the same time firm in respecting our priorities.
With a clear strategy and actively eliminating distractions, you can turn procrastination into an unpleasant memory and take control of your time.
I hope my article was helpful to you, I hope to hear from you again a feedback about my article.
Greetings !!!
