Perfection (Entry #6)

Hello! Dear friends, today we are talking about serious stuff

In this blog I want to start with a short imaginary game.

Let's imagine a world where everyone is in a special discipline, determined in perseverance, and with productive and healthy hobbies.

Some people would say that it is the “perfect world” from their perspective, but in life, the exactly "perfectionis not the most essential thing in our lives, realistically speaking, it is not even possible.

However, if we are to give an answer, from my point of view, the true value of the aspect of life, is to remain determined in what you actually started.

Introducing a context, let's talk about ambition and dedication in working on our physique.

The beginning has always been the hardest, and starting a hobby like going to the gym,

is a difficult challenge to discipline.

Like any beginning in a new chapter, you will always have the feeling of anxiety, uncertainty, and lack of confidence in your knowledge.

On the first day of going to the gym, the first thing you will do unconsciously will be, It is comparing yourself with other people in the gym, realizing that you are not the best in physical shape there, maybe not even by a long shot (assuming that is your inner critic). To avoid such challenges in our lives, is to become aware of focusing on personal progress, not on comparing ourselves to others.

Everyone has their own rhythm. 😊

Some strategies for persevering in remaining determined to have an active sports life, is to understand that an athlete will not always have a good workout. They will also have less good workouts, but one thing that makes the athlete being an athlete, it is the discipline that keeps them being what they wanted to be.

A quote I heard one day and never left my mind was:

"Don't be discouraged by your first awkward attempts. Every beginning is hard, but your reaction to those feelings of insecurity will carve the path to your success."

Returning to the idea of a "Perfect" world where everything would be ideal, without discomfort, I can say concretely that, it is simply an illusion. Overcoming challenges and reacting correctly to new experiences, makes us stronger and gives us satisfaction in moving forward on our paths.

That was the blog for today. I hope you enjoyed my blog and I made you being more conscious about "Perfection".

Greetings and see you at the gym!

The Cartoon I Grew Up With (Entry #4)

Hello Everyone, I hope you had a great day !

Today,  I want to discuss something that marked my childhood, being a series in the Anime category. The name of the Series we will talk about today is

"Naruto"

Naruto is one of the most popular and influential anime series in the world. if you haven't heard of the term "anime", it is a specific category of cartoons produced in Japanese artistic style.

The author Masashi Kishimoto started making this series thinking that it wouldn't catch on too much, huh, on the other hand, we can see that since 2002, the author's hand was forced to continue the Naruto series with two more series with over 1100 episodes and 11 movies and go with it into a full franchise.

The background of the series is in a universe with several Ninja villages (Hidden Villages), each with different fighting styles and specializations based on elements of nature (Fire, water, wind, earth, lightning).

By using  this link you can take a small bite, to feel the taste of this show.

If you think you need another sample , you can check this one too (you will not be disappointed)

The combat system is strategic based on combinations of techniques, chakra and supernatural powers. The series caught the attention of viewers, because of the emotional story, that was about an outsider who finds his way through the courage to never give up on his dreams. The protagonist of the series is Naruto Uzumaki, an orphan boy who dreams of becoming...

Hokage (the most powerful ninja in the village).

But the essence of the story, is the protagonist being marginalized by the others because a dangerous demon, "Kyuubi" known as the "Nine-Tailed Fox" was sealed in him. Throughout the series, Naruto goes through many trials and struggles, managing to make friends and gain the trust of his village.

The moral messages in the series were inspired by the author's past, having a great desire for recognition and loneliness.

A quote from Kishimoto that caught my attention was this:

"Naruto is the story of a boy who never gives up. I created him to give hope to anyone who feels invisible."

Have you watched this show already ?

 - if yes, give me some feedback. I would love to read it.

That was my blog for today, I hope I influenced your attention and made you start watching this show. Have a great night and take care, Peace !

Nothing Else Matters In Life (Entry #3)

Good Day Everyone, I hope all of you have a great morning

In today’s blog we will discuss one of nation’s favourite song by Metallica, “Nothing Else Matters”. If you haven’t heard of this song before, well it was released in 1992 and is without a doubt one of the most iconic songs created by Metallica.

Here we can see a link from a video of a concert that made history for Metallica, for having 1.6 million people that made a Record for one of the biggest concerts ever.

"Metallica, Moscow 1991"

Usually, you would expect an aggressive and intense style from this band, but through this ballad we can hear an emotional and personal discovery. The lead singer wrote it for his then-girlfriend, and while it was very personal and not intended for anyone else, his bandmates felt the authenticity of the song and insisted on incorporating it on their album.

Just like the lead singer, I have felt similar emotions while missing a certain person in my life. The lyrics of the song help put into words the feelings that felt hard to navigate at certain periods of my relationship. With lyrics such as

“So close, no matter how far...Couldn't be much more from the heart..."

"Forever trusting who we are...No, nothing else matters”

These lyrics really made me feel understood and helped me emphasize my appreciation for the people I love in my life. You can hear the full lyrics too, by clicking on think link I attached it for you. Enjoy !

"Metallica: Nothing Else Matters (Official Music Video)"

They served as a reminder to focus on what really matters to me and to always try my best to let the people in my life know how much I value them and no matter what hardships we endure, nothing matters more than the love that we share for each other - “Nothing else matters…”.

Metallica proved to everyone, that even the toughest people can have a sensitive soul. And perhaps that’s the song’s greatest strength.

Do you have a song that flies your mind to a close person ?

Tell me in the comments what is your favorite song and the detail that make it special.

 Take care you all !

Chewing Gum (Entry #5)

Hi guys, let's talk about something out of the pocket

Today I found myself thinking about how something that is so small, and feels so insignificant can evoke memories.

Small, but very effective, and neatly packaged, it is usually found in the pocket of my jeans, or at the bottom of a backpack. I grab it and assess how much I have left in the package, then I take a piece. It looks so simple, it wouldn't make you look twice.

Mint Gum Link

I pop one piece in my mouth and move it around as I start chewing. It goes from one side of my mouth to the other, trying to break it down and extract the icy flavor.

Its taste demands attention. Whatever flavor there was before, it gets wiped out by this strong, cooling sensation. The freshness lands first on my tongue, then it travels around my mouth, moving between my teeth and gums.

My mouth resembles a winter landscape painting. The icy, cooling effect is omnipresent like cold wind and my tongue feels like sharp icicles. I exhale, almost waiting to see steam come out of my mouth. If I closed my eyes, and focus, I could almost hear my friends' laughter as we used to play outside in the snow, throwing snowballs at each other.

If chewing gum can help evoke good memories, I wonder what other everyday items which we tend to overlook, could impact us if we give them the attention and appreciation.

Can you think of a similar experience that has happened to you?

I will clearly enjoy your feedback! :)
